Day 01 : Delhi

Welcome to your “Cultural Tour – Tribes & Weaving” ! On arrival our representative will assist at Delhi airport and  transfer to hotel. Check in and later explore the national capital of India including OldDelhi. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi - Bhubaneswar

After breakfast visit New Delhi and later transfer to the domestic airport for Bhubaneswar. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight at the hotel in Bhubaneswar.

Day 03 : Bhubaneswar – Puri - Bhubaneswar 

Post breakfast - excursion to Puri and Konark to visit the Holy City and the Sun Temple respectively. On way back visit heritage village Raghurajpur for traditional painting by local artisans. Overnight at hotel in Bubaneshwar

Day 04 : Bhubaneswar - Dhenkanal

After breakfast proceed to Dhenkanal and en route visit Nuapatna and Sadei Beruni for special traditional weaving village. En route visit  Ghantra tribal village for Dokra-craft work. Overnight- a royal stay at the Dhenkanal Palace.

Day 05 : Dhenkanal - Sambalpur 

Post breakfast proceed to Sambalpur. En route visit  Bhimija tribal villages. Check into the hotel in Sambalpur.

Day 06 : Sambalpur

This day is to explore the Barpali weavers’ village exclusively for the Ikkat design, typical of western Odisha. Overnight at Sambalpur.

Day 07 : Sambalpur - Bolangir 

After breakfast drive to Sonepur. En route visit the Humma leaning temple and later visit some traditional weaver’s villages.Overnight at Bolangir.

Day 08 : Bolangir - Baliguda

This day drive to Baliguda to visit the Kutia Kondh tribes. Overnight at the hotel Baliguda

Day 09 : Baliguda - Rayagada 

Early morning hike to the Kutia Kondh villages. Then proceed to Kotgarh to visit the weekly tribal market. (must be on Tuesday). Later drive to Rayagada. Overnight at Raygada.

Day 10 : Rayagada - Jeypore

After early breakfast proceed to weekly market at Chatikona of the Dongoria tribes and Desia tribes. Barter exchange is still prevalent among these communities. Later continue to drive to Jeypore. En route visit few Muniaka tribal villages. Overnight at Jeypore.

Day 11 : Jeypore 

Early breakfast drive to the hill-side to the villages of the Bonda-Gadba & Didayee tribes, also to visit their weekly market at Onkudeli. Overnight at Jeypore.

Day 12 : Jeypore - Jagdalpur

After relaxing breakfast proceed to the Jagdalpur. En route visit Kotpad weaving village and explore Bastar, one of the largest tribal districts of India . Overnight at the Bastar Jungle Resort.

Day 13 : Jagdalpur

After breakfast proceed to visit Bison Horn Marria villages and Kanger Valley National Park ( Kotumsar caves and Tirathgarh rapids).Overnight at the Bastar Jungle Resort.

Day 14 : Jagdalpur

Early morning explore the the forest surrounding the resort and walk to the village nearby. Evening drive to one of the region’s largest and most magnificent waterfalls (Chitrakote). Overnight at Bastar Jungle Resort

Day 15 : Jagdalpur - Araku 

After breakfast proceed to Bora Caves and Araku Valley. Overnight at the valley Resort

Day 16 : Departure from Vizag *Return home with happy memories

Today bid farewell to your “Cultural Tour – Tribes & Weaving” tour! After breakfast morning transfer from hotel to airport for onwards journey.
